Harry Styles Disses Taylor Swift
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Break-ups,
Harry Styles allegedly disses his brief relationship with Taylor Swift in One Direction's upcoming documentary.
The "Kiss You" singer - who split from the 23-year-old country music star in January after two months together - reportedly refers to their romance as a "pain in the a**e" and claims he hasn't dated anyone he wanted to have a serious relationship with since becoming famous.
According to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, the 19-year-old British heartthrob admits in the band's documentary, "I haven't met a girl yet who I'd want to even think of getting serious with. I think I've been unlucky in love so far. But then, I haven't really met anyone who's made the earth move for me. I'm longing to meet someone who really inspires me and makes me really want to spend time with them."

Taylor Swift is teaming up with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards.
The "22" singer - who is up for five awards - will duet with Tim on the track "Highway Don't Care," accompanied by Keith on guitar, at the event on Sunday in Las Vegas. The country trio originally recorded the song for Tim's 12th album, Two Lanes of Freedom, which was released in February, and last performed it live at the Grammy Awards.
Other all-star duets announced for the night include Stevie Wonder, who is to perform with Hunter Hayes, and co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryant who will team with Brad Paisley for "Boys Round Here." Luke has a busy night ahead of him as he is also set to perform his new single "Crash My Party," as well as being up for four different trophies, including Entertainer of the Year.
"It's all a dream. All I ever wanted to be is a big old country star, and I cannot believe it's happened. It's the time of my life, and I'm loving every day," he recently said.

Harry Styles Regrets Taylor Swift Romance
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Break-ups, Rumors,
Harry Styles regrets dating Taylor Swift.
The One Direction heartthrob - who enjoyed a two month romance with the country singer late last year - reportedly told friends that he wishes he never went out with the 23-year-old star after she took a swipe at him in her new music video 22.
A source close to the 19-year-old British boy band member told RadarOnline.com, "Harry might have taken Taylor's swipes with an air of grace, but he now wishes he never ever dated her. I mean, the fact she's aiming a jab at him in the 22 video has got Harry wondering what's coming next! He just doesn't know what to expect. It wasn't the most amicable of splits, but Harry said all along that he wanted to take things slow and easy with Taylor. There was certainly no commitment made, despite Taylor's protestations and the fact that they were so busy with their careers and lived in different countries meant that it could never have really got that serious. What for Harry was 'a bit of fun' at the time has slowly turned into a personal nightmare. But he won't stoop to Taylor's level, he's just going to continue to be the more grown-up person and get on with his life. Perhaps something Taylor should consider too."

Taylor Swift Is 2012’s Worst-Selling Celebrity Cover Model
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News, Sales,
She may sell millions of copies of her albums and make quite a profit in merchandising, but Taylor Swift unfortunately can't get enough people to buy the magazines she's on.
In the Vogue department, Swift's cover sold 329,371 copies - a little more than the fashion glossy's six-month average - which does not impress much in comparison to Adele's March cover with 410,343 copies.
Her November Glamour issue sold 443,000 copies, but she couldn't beat out the less-famous former Hills star Lauren Conrad, whose cover sold over 500,000. The magazine's editor-in-chief Cindi Leive tried to reason why the huge star's magazine didn't sell so well: "here may have been a little hiccup for her right around the [One Direction] relationship. But it’s nothing a pro can’t come back from. I’d put money on her for the long run."
Swift's cover for Cosmopolitan turned out to be the magazine's worst seller of the year, selling 20% below its six-month average.

Taylor Swift Wants to Collaborate with Eminem

Taylor Swift wants to collaborate with Eminem.
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer is famed for her country-pop songs but she is also a huge fan of hip-hop and would love to do a song with the "Stan" rapper.
"I love hip-hop so much. There's something so honest about it," she said. When asked if she would jump on a track with Eminem, she added to InStyle magazine, "Nobody wants to hear me rap but I'd sing a chorus for someone for sure. I would sign up for that in a heartbeat."
Taylor, 23, is famed for her clean-cut image and while she admits people would be shocked if she started swearing in her music, she insists she has the final say on what she writes and releases and could do what she wants: "I don't have a big scary management situation where I have to ask them. If I wrote a song called 'F**k' I think people would kind of raise their hand and go, like, 'Maybe swear less?' But I just don't really feel the need to swear in my music."
Amy Poehler Sorry for Upsetting Taylor Swift
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Television, Dating, Rivalries,
Amy Poehler has apologized to Taylor Swift for mocking her love life. The Parks And Recreation star insists she and good pal Tina Fey didn't mean to upset the country singer, who is renowned for dating a string of Hollywood stars, by warning her to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son" and advised her to take "some me time" while presenting the Golden Globes in January after Taylor said she is going to "hell" for the comments.
"Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff," the 41-year-old comedian told The Hollywood Reporter.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine, the 23-year-old singer admitted she wasn't impressed with the jokes at her expense: "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"
Taylor Swift Comments on Media Coverage of Her Love Life

Though the tabloids have pounced on every shred of a news involving Taylor Swift's current dating status for years now, the 23 year-old singer has broken her silence to set the record straight.
"You know, if you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people," Swift claimed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. "The fact that there are slideshows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with ... it's just kind of ridiculous."
When the question of her supposed involvements with stars like Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Taylor Lautner were brought up, the country popstar had even more to say:
"For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated – a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way – that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist."

Taylor Swift’s “Trouble” Track About Harry Styles
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Country, Pop, New Releases,
Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" is "100 per cent" about Harry Styles.
The singer had an on/off relationship with the One Direction hunk last year, with them initially splitting in April when he was spotted kissing a model in Australia. They then reconciled for two months at the end of the 2012, but split over New Year while holidaying in the British Virgin Islands. Now a friend has confirmed Taylor's single "I Knew You Were Trouble" - one of her famous break up songs about her exes - is about their romance.
"Taylor was crushed over Harry the first time they dated, and like she always does, she penned a song about him to deal with her broken heart. 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is one hundred percent about Harry. She knew he was young and popular with the ladies and wasn't ready for a serious relationship, but somehow hoped she could make it work," the source said.

Taylor Swift Sued Over Cancelled Concert
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Concerts / Tours, Gossip, Country, Pop,
Taylor Swift is being sued over a cancelled concert.
The "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hitmaker is facing a lawsuit after being paid in advance to headline a country music festival in Canada which has since been cancelled, reports TMZ. Promoters for Capital Hoedown - which was due to take place in Ottawa in August 2012 - reportedly failed to put the concert together in time and it was subsequently nixed. Now the company which sold tickets for the event feels Taylor, 22, should use her sizeable fee to refund $1.8 million worth of ticket purchases, according to documents filed in New York federal court.
The singer's representatives contest, however, that her deal was not with the ticket company and thus she is not liable for the refunds. They also claim they have not yet seen the lawsuit.
Taylor has had previous brushes with the law; in 2010 she was reportedly sued by former manager Dan Dymtrow for breach of contract. He claimed he signed the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer aged 14 and helped her launch her career, but her family conspired to fire him before he could earn a commission from her sales.

Eric has the most nods for the event with seven, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Chief. Hunter follows with six nominations; Miranda and Taylor have five each. The female singers will go head to head in the Entertainer of the Year category, a title won by Taylor three times, including the last two years in a row. Miranda also has an impressive winning streak, in the Female Vocalist Of The Year category. If she wins again this year it will be her fourth consecutive victory.
Clocking up four awards each are Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves, while Blake Shelton - who will co-host the awards - is up for three trophies, as are Jason Aldean, Eli Young Band, and Florida Georgia Line.
